Dnd Notes 11-06-22 B-Team

  • Jimco stays behind to harvest parts from the dragon while we search for puppy
    • Infaris asks for a claw while Vapor wants the whole head
  • Ungvar finds a dire korgi wandering the streets, offers it some jerky and starts talking to it. He asks it if he's seen Puppy. The dog (named Charles) offers to lead the group by tracking the dog
  • Vapor looks at his mirrors that he found and sees that they have the name "Skarabinof" carved into them. That is the name of a famous Silver dragon whos name Infaris invoked when flicking the silver coin at the black dragon.
  • Charles leads us to an unmarked temple where Puppy apparently resides.
  • The large Mahogony doors on the temple appear to be locked but and the only opening seems to be pretty high up
  • Infaris and Vapor spider climb up the wall and use the silver mirrors to peek inside the opening. We see Puppy on an alter surrounded by robed figures
  • We slowly walk across the ceiling so that we are right above puppy and summon Ungvar. He ranges and uses Vapor's amulet to teleport in. He plummets down swinging his axe wildly landing on one of his robed figures
  • The one leading the ceremony mentions they are sacrificing Puppy for Alaric, the Southern vampire lord who is in his Necropolis at Nykkar
  • The vampire summons 5 big swarms of bats who proceed to surround Infaris
  • Vapor is swayed by the vampire's charms and lets it feast on him, lowering his max hitpoints by 17
  • Ungvar throws a spear which pierces the vampire's heart who says "this isn't over friends" and disappears in smoke
  • Ungvar is quite exhausted
